(a) A disciplinary panel may issue a cease and desist order for: (1) Practicing naturopathic medicine without a license or with an unauthorized person; or (2) Supervising or aiding an unauthorized person in the practice of naturopathic medicine. (b) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, a licensed physician may not employ an individual practicing naturopathic medicine without a license or without a collaboration and consultation agreement. (c) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, an employer may not employ an individual practicing naturopathic medicine without a license or without a collaboration and consultation agreement. (d) A disciplinary panel may impose a civil penalty of up to $5,000 for a violation of this section. (e) The Board shall remit any penalty collected under this section into the General Fund of the State.
