(a) (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, an
applicant who otherwise qualifies for a license is entitled to be examined for that
license as provided in this section.
(2) An applicant who fails the examination for licensure six times
may not:
(i) Retake the examination; or
(ii) Be licensed by the Board.
(b) The Board shall give examinations at least twice a year, at the times
and places that the Board determines, to applicants for:
(1) A physical therapy license; and
(2) A physical therapist assistant license.
(c) The Board or its agent shall notify each qualified applicant of the time
and place of the examination.
(d) The Board shall determine the subjects, scope, form, and passing score
for examinations given under this subtitle.
