(a) This section does not apply to a special rehabilitation hospital that is licensed under Subtitle 3 of this title. (b) Any person that provides or holds himself out as providing comprehensive physical rehabilitation services on an out-patient basis shall obtain a comprehensive rehabilitation license before the person may provide comprehensive physical rehabilitation services in the State. (c) The Department shall issue a comprehensive rehabilitation license to any person for whom a comprehensive rehabilitation license is required if the person submits an application on the form established and provided for the Secretary. (d) While it is effective, a comprehensive rehabilitation license authorizes the licensed person to provide comprehensive physical rehabilitation services. (e) A person may not provide or hold himself out as providing comprehensive physical rehabilitation services on an out-patient basis unless the person has been issued a comprehensive rehabilitation license under this section.
