(a) (1) The Department, in collaboration with the Commission on Health Equity, shall develop a clear and easy-to-understand graphic data dashboard that includes age-adjusted health disparity data disaggregated by race, ethnicity, and gender. (2) The data dashboard shall include information regarding the following health indicators: (i) Health insurance access; (ii) Cardiovascular disease; (iii) Chronic disease; (iv) Mental health and substance use; (v) Cancer; (vi) HIV/AIDS; (vii) Sexually transmitted infection; (viii) Body mass index; and (ix) Any other health indicators determined relevant by the Department. (b) The Department shall: (1) Update the data dashboard developed under subsection (a) of this section on a quarterly basis, as determined by data availability; and (2) Post the most recent updated data dashboard prominently on its website. §13-5801. IN EFFECT // EFFECTIVE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 2030 PER CHAPTER 759 OF 2025 // (a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated. (b) "Paramedic" has the meaning stated in § 13-516 of the Education Article. (c) "Program" means the Buprenorphine Training Grant Program. §13-5802. IN EFFECT // EFFECTIVE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 2030 PER CHAPTER 759 OF 2025 // (a) (1) There is a Buprenorphine Training Grant Program in the Department. (2) The purpose of the Program is to assist a county with offsetting the cost of training paramedics to administer buprenorphine. (b) A county may apply to the Department for a grant from the Program. (c) A county may use a grant awarded under the Program only for training paramedics to administer buprenorphine. (d) The Governor shall include in the annual budget bill an appropriation of at least $50,000 from the Opioid Restitution Fund for the Program.
