(a) The Department may contribute to the support of a child formerly under foster care after the child is adopted. (b) The support may include payment for: (1) maintenance costs; (2) medical, dental, and surgical expenses; (3) psychiatric and psychological expenses; and (4) any other cost necessary for the child's care and well-being. (c) The amount and duration of the support may vary according to the needs of the child and the income of the adoptive parents.
