(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
(b) "Abuse" has the meaning stated in § 4-501(b)(1) of this title.
(c) "Domestic violence" means abuse occurring between:
(1) current or former spouses or cohabitants;
(2) persons who have a child in common; or
(3) persons currently or formerly involved in a dating relationship.
(d) "Domestic violence program" is a program established in accordance
with § 4-515 of this title.
(e) "Local team" means the multidisciplinary and multiagency domestic
violence fatality review team established for a county in accordance with this subtitle.
(f) "Serious physical injury" has the meaning stated in § 3-201 of the
Criminal Law Article.
