Subject to the hearing provisions of § 11-415 of this subtitle, the Commissioner
may suspend or revoke the license of any licensee, if:
(1) The licensee knowingly or without exercising due care:
(i) Violates any provision of this subtitle or of any other law
that regulates agreements; or

(ii) Fails to comply with any demand or requirement that the
Commissioner makes under this subtitle;
(2) The licensee makes any material misstatement in an application
for a license;
(3) The licensee defrauds any buyer, to the buyer's damage;
(4) The licensee willfully fails to carry out any written agreement
with a buyer;
(5) The licensee knowingly and repeatedly violates any provision of
the Maryland Consumer Debt Collection Act;
(6) An officer, director, or trustee of or partner in the licensee is
responsible for any act or omission that would be a ground for suspending or revoking
a license; or
(7) Any agent or employee of the licensee is responsible for any act or
omission that would be a ground for suspending or revoking a license, if the licensee:
(i) Approves or knows of that or similar acts or omissions; and
(ii) After giving approval or learning of the act or omission,
keeps any benefit, proceeds, profit, or advantage resulting from the act or omission
or otherwise ratifies the act or omission.
