If any member of the armed services of the United States has executed a power
of attorney, the fact that that person has been reported or listed, officially or
otherwise, as "missing in action", as that phrase is used to describe a casualty
category applicable to members of the armed services, does not operate to revoke the
power of attorney, unless the instrument otherwise provides.
