(a) In addition to any other means of enforcing a court order, the court that
has ordered a fiduciary to give countersecurity pursuant to the Maryland Rules may
compel compliance with the court order by attachment and sequestration.
(b) If the fiduciary fails to give countersecurity within the time fixed by the
court, and is removed:
(1) The register of wills may bring suit on the bond of the fiduciary
to recover taxes and costs; and
(2) If the register does not bring suit on the bond, and a new fiduciary
is appointed, the new fiduciary may bring suit on the bond of the removed fiduciary.
