(a) The ordinance or resolution that creates a district shall include articles of incorporation that comply with this section. (b) The articles of incorporation shall include: (1) The name of the district, using the word "district"; (2) A statement that the district is formed under this subtitle; (3) The name of each member county; (4) The name, address, and term of office of each of the first sanitary commissioners of the district; (5) The purposes for which the district is created; and (6) If the district is to exercise jurisdiction over a geographical area smaller than the maximum jurisdiction allowable to the district under this subtitle, a description of the geographical jurisdiction of the district.
