(a) If the Department disapproves, in whole or in part, a proposed county plan or a proposed revision or amendment of a county plan, the Department shall give the county a written notice of disapproval that states the reasons for disapproval. (b) At any time up to 6 months after a county receives the notice of disapproval, the county governing body may ask the Secretary to reconsider the disapproval in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Department.
