(a) The Department shall adopt regulations to require that whenever the
Department tests water from a well used for domestic purposes the following
information shall be given to a person who requests the test and to any other person
for whose benefit the test is requested:
(1) A certificate of potability;
(2) The complete results of the test, whether the test requested is
bacteriological or chemical in nature; and
(3) The name, address, and telephone number of the appropriate
agency of local government that the person may contact for an explanation of the test
results.
(b) The regulations shall apply to any person or unit of State or local
government that tests the water from a well.
