(a) (1) There is a Remote Classroom Technology Grant Program in the State. (2) The purpose of the Program is to provide grants to public schools in the State to purchase technology to allow students with medical conditions to participate in classrooms remotely if in-person attendance is not possible. (b) The Governor may include in the State budget an annual appropriation to the Program. (c) The Department shall implement and administer the Program in accordance with this section. (d) The Department may adopt regulations to implement the requirements of this section.
