(a) (1) Until the election of members of the Frederick County Board at the general election of 2022 and the commencement of their terms on December 6, 2022, following that election, the president of the county board is entitled to receive $11,000 annually as compensation, and each other voting member of the county board is entitled to receive $10,000 annually as compensation. (2) After the election of members of the county board at the general election of 2022 and the commencement of their terms on December 6, 2022, following the election, the president of the county board is entitled to receive $15,000 annually as compensation, and each other voting member of the county board is entitled to receive $14,000 annually as compensation. (b) The president and all other members of the Frederick County Board are entitled to health insurance benefits regularly provided to employees of the Frederick County public school system.
