(a) A person may not knowingly make or cause to be made a false statement or report in an application or document submitted to the Authority under this part. (b) A person may not knowingly make or cause to be made a false statement or report to influence an action of the Authority under this part: (1) on an application for assistance; or (2) affecting bonding assistance whether or not the assistance has been extended. (c) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or a fine not exceeding $1,000 or both.
