(a) (1) Subject to the approval of the Governor, the Authority may appoint a full-time or part-time General Counsel. (2) The General Counsel serves at the pleasure of the Authority. (3) The Authority shall determine the compensation of the General Counsel. (4) The General Counsel may not be a member of the Authority. (b) The General Counsel, if appointed, is the legal advisor to the Authority and, at the direction of the Authority, shall represent the Authority in judicial or other proceedings.
