(a) Any person who violates any provision of § 18-201(a) or § 18-301(a) of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $5,000. (b) Any person who violates any provision of §§ 18-201(b) through 18-205, § 18-301(b), or § 18-302 of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or imprisonment not exceeding five years or both. (c) Any person who violates any provision of § 18-206, § 18-207 or §§ 18-303 through 18-306 of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment not exceeding one year or both.
