(a) In this section, "Board" means the State Board of Physicians.
(b) A person who acts without malice and is a member of the Board or a
legally authorized agent of the Board, is not civilly liable for investigating,
prosecuting, participating in a hearing under § 14-405 of the Health Occupations
Article, or otherwise acting on an allegation of a ground for Board action made to the
Board.
(c) A person who acts without malice is not civilly liable for making an
allegation of a ground for Board action to the Board or Faculty.

(d) Any person who acts in good faith is not civilly liable for giving any of
the information required under § 14-413 or § 14-414 of the Health Occupations
Article.
