To aid in the exercise of its rulemaking powers, the Supreme Court of
Maryland may appoint a standing committee of lawyers, judges, and other persons
competent in judicial practice, procedure or administration. A committee member
shall serve without compensation, but shall be reimbursed for traveling and other
expenses incurred on committee business.
