(a) This section applies to an examination in aid of enforcement of a money judgment entered or recorded in a circuit court or in the District Court. (b) (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, in ruling on a request by a judgment creditor for an examination in aid of enforcement, the court may not require the judgment creditor to show that good cause exists for the examination. (2) The court may require a judgment creditor to show that good cause exists for the examination of a person if the court granted a request by the judgment creditor for an examination of the same person within the previous 12 months.
