A written finding of presumed death made by the Secretary of Defense or other officer or employee of the United States authorized by federal law to make a finding of presumed death or a duly certified copy of the finding shall be received in any court, office, or other place in the State as evidence of: (1) The death of the individual disclosed in the finding as dead; and (2) The date, circumstances, and place of the individual's death or disappearance.
