(a) If an amendment is adopted under § 5-308 of this subtitle, the religious corporation shall adopt articles of amendment which shall set forth the amendment and state that the amendment was advised by the trustees and approved by the members of the religious corporation. (b) The articles of amendment shall: (1) Be signed and acknowledged for the religious corporation by the trustees who declared the resolution advisable; and (2) Have the matters and facts contained in the articles verified under oath by the chairman or secretary of the meeting of members. (c) The trustees shall file the articles of amendment for record with the Department.
