A professional solicitor may not employ, pay, agree to pay, or otherwise use the services of a person to make a charitable solicitation unless the person: (1) is registered with the Secretary of State as an associate solicitor; or (2) becomes registered with the Secretary of State within 10 days after the person starts acting as an associate solicitor.
