(a) (1) A majority of the authorized membership of the Commission is a quorum. (2) The Commission may not act unless a majority of the authorized membership concurs. (b) The Commission shall set the times and places of its meetings. (c) (1) The chairman of the Commission is entitled to: (i) an annual salary of $6,000; and (ii) reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget. (2) Each other member of the Commission is entitled to: (i) an annual salary of $4,000; and (ii) reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget. (d) While in office, each member of the Commission shall be covered by a surety bond or an insurance policy of the type and in the amount of coverage determined by the State Treasurer under § 5-108 of the State Government Article. (e) The Commission may employ a staff in accordance with the State budget. (f) The Commission shall have its general offices in Baltimore City.
