(a) Unless a license is renewed for a 1-year term as provided in this section, the license expires on the first June 30 after its effective date. (b) At least 1 month before a license issued under this subtitle expires, the issuing official shall mail to the licensee, at the last known address of the licensee, a renewal notice that states: (1) the date on which the current license expires; and (2) the date by which the issuing official must receive the renewal application for the renewal to be issued and mailed before the license expires. (c) Before a license issued under this subtitle expires, the licensee may renew it for an additional 1-year term, if the licensee: (1) otherwise is entitled to be licensed; (2) submits to the issuing official a renewal application on the form that the issuing official requires; and (3) pays to the issuing official the license fee required under § 16.9- 203 of this subtitle. (d) The issuing official shall renew the license of each licensee who meets the requirements of this section.
