(a) If an applicant qualifies for a license under this title, the Commission
shall send the applicant a notice stating:
(1) the fact that the applicant has qualified for a license;
(2) the dates of the race meeting awarded;
(3) the total number of racing days awarded; and
(4) the kind of racing to be held.
(b) Before the Commission may issue a license to an applicant, the applicant
shall pay to the Commission a license fee of $25 for each racing day of a race meeting.
(c) A licensee shall pay each year $3,000 to the Maryland Horse Breeders
Association, Inc.
