(a) An appraisal management company may not change a completed appraisal report submitted by an appraiser by: (1) permanently removing the appraiser's signature or seal; or (2) adding information to, or removing information from, the appraisal report with an intent to change the valuation conclusion. (b) (1) An appraisal management company may not require an appraiser to provide the appraisal management company with the appraiser's digital signature or seal. (2) Subject to the restrictions in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, an appraiser may voluntarily provide the appraiser's digital signature to another person.
