(a) An individual may not: (1) be intoxicated and endanger the safety of another individual or property; or (2) be intoxicated or consume an alcoholic beverage in a public place and cause a public disturbance. (b) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or a fine not exceeding $100 or both.
