(a) This section applies to a violation that is cause for suspension or
revocation of a license.
(b) Instead of or in addition to suspending or revoking the license, the Board
may:
(1) for a first offense:
(i) except as provided in item (ii) of this item, impose a fine
not exceeding $1,500; or

(ii) for a violation of § 10-117 of the Criminal Law Article,
impose a fine of $1,500;
(2) for a second offense in the same 24-month period, impose a fine
not exceeding $6,000; and
(3) for a third offense in the same 24-month period, impose a fine of
$7,500.
(c) For a fourth offense in the same 24-month period, the Board shall
suspend the license for 30 days, unless the Board revokes the license.
