(a) There is a Class B/ECF (educational conference facility) beer, wine, and
liquor license for the University College Center for Adult Education of the University
of Maryland.
(b) The Board may issue the license to an individual who is:
(1) authorized by the University College Center for Adult Education
to:
(i) act on its behalf;
(ii) assume all responsibility; and
(iii) be subject to all the penalties, conditions, and restrictions
imposed on licenses; and
(2) a resident and registered voter of the county.
(c) The license authorizes the license holder to sell beer, wine, and liquor
by the drink in the University College Center for Adult Education, from one or more
outlets, for on-premises consumption to an individual authorized to use the Center.
(d) The policies of the University College Center for Adult Education that
pertain to the sponsorship of events where alcoholic beverages may be sold shall be
filed with the application.
(e) All profits from the sale of beer, wine, and liquor shall be deposited into
the food services income fund.
(f) The Board shall adopt regulations concerning the manner of dispensing
beer, wine, and liquor and the hours and days of sale set out for a Class B beer, wine,
and liquor license under § 26-2004 of this title.
(g) The annual license fee is $5,175.
