(a) Revenue derived from the sale of alcoholic beverages shall be:
(1) deposited in a bank located in the county in the name of
Montgomery County, Maryland; and
(2) disbursed by the Director of Finance in the same manner as other
county funds.
(b) (1) There is an Alcohol Beverage Services Fund in the county.
(2) The proceeds derived from the sale of alcoholic beverages shall be
credited into the Alcohol Beverage Services Fund to maintain an adequate balance of
working capital, as determined by the Director and the Director of Finance and
subject to the approval of the County Executive, for the continued operation of the
dispensary system.
(3) After providing adequate working capital for the Alcohol
Beverage Services Fund, the net proceeds shall be deposited to the general fund of
the county.
