(a) There is a Class B-B&B (bed and breakfast) beer, wine, and liquor license. (b) The Board may issue the license for the use of a bed and breakfast that: (1) has rooms, excluding the resident management quarters, that the public for consideration may use for sleeping accommodations for a specified time; (2) does not have dining facilities that are open to the public; and (3) meets all other qualifications to hold a license issued by the Board. (c) (1) The license authorizes the license holder to sell beer, wine, and liquor for on-premises consumption only to a guest: (i) whose name and address appear on the registry that the bed and breakfast maintains; and (ii) who is an occupant of a sleeping room in the bed and breakfast. (2) The license holder may not sell beer, wine, and liquor to an individual who is registered only to obtain alcoholic beverages. (3) If the licensed premises ends operations as a bed and breakfast, the license is void. (d) The license holder may sell beer, wine, and liquor during the hours and days as set out for a Class B beer, wine, and liquor license under § 18-2004 of this title. (e) The annual license fee is: (1) $25 for a bed and breakfast with five or fewer bedrooms; and (2) $50 for a bed and breakfast with six or more bedrooms.
