(a) There is a local caterer's license.
(b) The Board may issue the license to a person to contract with a sponsor
of a public or private event to provide food and alcoholic beverages if the person holds:
(1) an alcoholic beverages license issued in the county; and
(2) a caterer's license issued by the county health department.
(c) The license authorizes a holder to:
(1) sell or provide alcoholic beverages on the premises of a catered
event during the event; and
(2) exercise the privileges of the license only during the hours and on
the days authorized for a Class B restaurant or hotel (on-sale) beer, wine, and liquor
license.
(d) The license holder shall provide food for consumption at the catered
event.
(e) The Board shall set the fee for the license.
(f) This section does not require a holder of a Class B restaurant or hotel
(on-sale) beer, wine, and liquor license to obtain a local caterer's license for catering
on the premises for which the Class B license is issued.
