Transportation of fireworks

1. Transportation of fireworks. A person may not transport fireworks in a motor vehicle or
conveyance except as permitted by the rules adopted by the commissioner.

2. Penalty. A person who violates this section commits a Class E crime.

3. Strict liability. Violation of this section is a strict liability crime as defined in Title 17-A,
section 34, subsection 4-A.
