1. Sale of fireworks prohibited. Except for the sale of consumer fireworks under section 223-A, a person may not sell, possess with the intent to sell or offer for sale fireworks. [PL 2011, c. 416, §4 (AMD); PL 2011, c. 416, §9 (AFF).] 2. Value exceeds $5,000. If the value of the fireworks exceeds $5,000, a person who violates subsection 1 commits a Class B crime.
