Misbranding

No person shall distribute a misbranded plant or soil amendment. A plant or soil amendment shall
be deemed to be misbranded if: [PL 1979, c. 491, §1 (NEW).]

1. False labeling. Its labeling is false or misleading in any particular;

2. Not labeled. If it is not labeled as required in this subchapter; or

3. Nonconformance. If it does not conform to ingredient form or investigational allowances in
the rules adopted by the commissioner.
