The Commissioner of Administrative and Financial Services shall appoint the Chief Information Officer. The Chief Information Officer must be a qualified professional person who shall: [PL 2005, c. 12, Pt. SS, §9 (RPR).] 1. Policy-making information. Direct, coordinate and oversee information technology policy making, planning, architecture and standardization; and [PL 2005, c. 12, Pt. SS, §9 (NEW).] 2. Provide services. Direct and oversee the provision of information technology and enterprise services in data processing and telecommunications throughout State Government. [PL 2005, c. 12, Pt. SS, §9 (NEW).]
