1. Staff assistance. The board may authorize the retirement system staff to give assistance to the advisory committee. [PL 1989, c. 811, §3 (NEW).] 2. Expenses. The board may authorize the payment of necessary expenses incurred in the operation of the advisory committee from the funds allocated for that purpose based upon a budget submitted by the advisory committee. [PL 1989, c. 811, §3 (NEW).] 3. Duties of the board. Nothing in this chapter alters the duties of the board to administer the retirement plan of participating local districts.
