Conflict of interest prohibited

The State Controller or any employee of the division may not be financially interested, directly or
indirectly, in any insurer, agency or insurance transaction, except as a policyholder or claimant under a
policy, nor may the State Controller or any employee be licensed under Title 24-A, as an agent, broker,
consultant or adjuster. [PL 2017, c. 284, Pt. O, §2 (AMD).]
