Maine Code § 38-282

Endangering persons or property

Whoever operates any watercraft, vessel, water skis, surfboard, similar device or motorboat,
however propelled, upon the tidewaters of any municipality or upon any of the offshore waters within
the jurisdiction of this State in a manner which endangers any person or property shall be guilty of a
Class E crime. [PL 1977, c. 696, §337 (RPR).]
