Disposal ban

After July 15, 2002, a person may not knowingly place a mercury-added product in solid waste for
disposal in a solid waste disposal facility. This section may not be construed to affect existing laws,
rules or regulations governing disposal of mercury-added products prior to July 15, 2002. [PL 1999,
