1. Subject to superior claim of another state. If the administrator knows that property held by the administrator under this Act is subject to a superior claim of another state, the administrator shall: A. Report and pay or deliver the property to the other state; or [PL 2019, c. 498, §22 (NEW).] B. Return the property to the holder so that the holder may pay or deliver the property to the other state. [PL 2019, c. 498, §22 (NEW).] [PL 2019, c. 498, §22 (NEW).] 2. Agreement to transfer not required. The administrator is not required to enter into an agreement to transfer property to the other state under subsection 1. [PL 2019, c. 498, §22 (NEW).]
