1. Supervision and documentation of investigative assistant's activities. The sponsoring professional investigator is responsible for overseeing and documenting the activities of the investigative assistant under the sponsoring professional investigator's supervision, including: A. Keeping a record of all 1,200 training hours, including hours worked on specific activities performed by the investigative assistant; and [PL 2011, c. 366, §42 (NEW).] B. Providing specific training in areas determined by the chief by rule. [PL 2011, c. 366, §42 (NEW).] [PL 2011, c. 366, §42 (NEW).] 2. Distribute materials. The holder of an investigative assistant's license may not obtain or distribute any materials, such as a business card, letterhead, invoice or brochure, in any name other than that of the sponsoring professional investigator. [PL 2011, c. 366, §42 (NEW).] 3. Termination of investigative assistant. A duly licensed professional investigator who terminates the sponsorship of a licensed investigative assistant must notify the chief of the termination immediately. The notification must be in writing and contain the cause of the termination. The chief shall immediately notify the investigative assistant that the investigative assistant must cease all licensed activity. [PL 2011, c. 366, §42 (NEW).]
