Civil penalties

The administrator may assess a civil penalty against a person that violates this Act or a rule adopted
or an order issued under this Act in an amount not to exceed $1,000 per day for each day the violation
is outstanding, plus this State's costs and expenses for the investigation and prosecution of the matter,
including reasonable attorney's fees. [PL 2023, c. 662, §2 (NEW).]
