The director may establish by rule fees for purposes authorized under this chapter in amounts that are reasonable and necessary for their respective purposes, except that the fee for any one purpose, other than inspection fees and fees set for the purposes of section 15224, may not exceed $500. Rules adopted pursuant to this section are routine technical rules as defined in Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2-A. [PL 2023, c. 643, Pt. E, §2 (AMD).]
