Public health authority and responsibility

A naturopathic doctor is a licensed doctor and has the same authority and responsibility as other
licensed doctors regarding public health laws, reportable disease and conditions, communicable disease
control and prevention, recording of vital statistics, health and physical examinations and local boards
of health, except that this authority is limited to activity consistent with the scope of practice authorized
by this chapter. [PL 1995, c. 671, §13 (NEW).]
