Drug and Alcohol Resistance Education Fund

1. Fund established. The Drug and Alcohol Resistance Education Fund, referred to in this section
as the "fund," is established as a nonlapsing fund. The commissioner may use this fund only to support
the activities of officers in the drug and alcohol resistance education program in the Department of
Public Safety.

2. Revenue sources. The commissioner may accept court mandated and private contributions
intended to be used for the purposes of the fund.

3. Budget. The commissioner shall submit a budget for each biennium pursuant to Title 5, sections
1663 and 1666.
