Medical expense deductibles

Each insurer transacting or offering to transact workers' compensation insurance in the State shall
offer deductibles for medical expenses as follows. [PL 1991, c. 885, Pt. B, §12 (NEW); PL 1991,

1. Optional deductible of $250. To employers who are not experience-rated, insurers shall offer
a deductible of $250 per occurrence.

2. Optional deductible of $250 or $500. To employers who are experience-rated, insurers shall
offer a deductible of $250 or $500 per occurrence.
