Negligence of employees

Any person employed in conducting trains, who is guilty of negligence or carelessness causing an
injury, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by imprisonment for not more than 11
months; but the corporation employing him is not thereby exempt from responsibility. [PL 1987, c.
