An adult with long-term care needs is eligible for in-home and community support services under this chapter if the department or its designee determines that the adult: [PL 1981, c. 511, §1 (NEW).] 1. Inappropriate placement. Is at risk of being or already has been placed inappropriately in an institutional setting; [PL 1981, c. 511, §1 (NEW).] 2. Need for services. Has a need for in-home and community support services; and [PL 1981, c. 511, §1 (NEW).] 3. Income and support. Has no or insufficient personal income or other support from public services, family members and neighbors. [PL 1981, c. 511, §1 (NEW).]
